I must thank ALL of my 3 members for rushing this out with me due to my whines ;w; I have a full group that was meant for next year but a sudden thought was struck into me.
Why is it that whenever we are hyped upon something, we never get to do it immediately because it has to go to the end of list planned in time to come? And when it comes, you realise that you are no longer THAT interested anymore? It was due to this that I pleaded these lovely girls and they kindly gave in to my childishness.
Day 2 was planned months before and while the costume is not that difficult, the prop stands out more! LOL!! And... *ohmanitsraininggg!!<3* I know my other team members' costumes are actually much harder than mine! だから...みんながんばって!! <--Seriously trying to brush up some japanese so we can try to read some stuff in Japan! Thoughts!
::A disclaimer that I am NOT pinpointing ANYONE. It just happened that I surf Cure, not yamblog, cosplay.com or anywhere else ^ ^; And when I use '', it means it is debatable, not sarcasm.::
Having surfed Cure for quite some time, I realised thatquite a number Japanese cosplayers tend to add additional detailings to what is not on the costume..
So... what do you think?
For me, personally I feel it can be regarded in 2 ways. Either it is for the costume to look far more detailed and probably 'expensive' by executing some 'creativity' or 'originality' on it, or you are not respecting what the artist has designed it as.
I lie much more towards following every single detail seen on the artwork but yet again, in a case whereby I would like to cosplay a young girl who is drawn in a plain pink yukata. But according to tradition, I... don't think young Japanese girls wear plain yukatas, mainly are the married women. Please do correct me if I am wrong!
SO! If it was you, would you follow the artist and sew a plain yukata or something with at least light prints on it?
